Aramid lifi, aromatik kolon poliamid lifinin genel adıdır. Yabancı marka adı Kevlar Fiber. Şirket 1968'de araştırmaya başladı ve 1973'te başarıyla geliştirdi. Ülkem ona Aramid Fiber adını verdi.
